Description
The demands placed on any routine microscope for daily work needs careful focus on every microscope detail. The new BA310 features a powerful adjustable light source to meet both delicate and detailed lighting requirements for all sample types while the fully featured Koehler illumination helps in highlighting even the weakest stained specimens.
New CCIS EF-N Plan Achromat objectives provide optimal image contrast through newly designed multi-layer lens coatings.
It also features options for Multi-Viewing Device available as
Side-By-Side or Face-To-Face.
Motic BA 400
Modular
microscopy platform
Offering
numerous types of applications within one microscope platform, the
BA400 represents the demands for an affordable, expandable, and
comfortable microscopy workstation.
Description
The standard
BA400 is equipped with the ergonomic friendly observation angle of
30
°
with the Siedentopf interpupillary
adjustment system [55-75mm] to accommodate the differences in users.
Though standard at 30°
,
the user has a choice of what kind of head, binocular, trinocular
[20/80], and trinocular [0/100], for the BA400, thus modularity from
the beginning. Adding function and comfort, the adjustable, high
eyepoint eyepieces of the BA400 allow the user to adjust for
astigmatism [
±
5
°
]
while aligning a reticule without having to paste their eyes on the
eyepieces.
Based upon the
Colour Corrected Infinity Optical System [CCIS®], the BA400
incorporates the CCIS® Plan Achromat objectives in the overall
combination to produce those image requirements of clear, crisp,
true colour, distortion free, and high contrast with a field flatness of
F.N. 22. Complementing the CCIS® system, the standard equipped
swing-out N.A. 0.9/0.13 Achromat Abbe condenser is able to render
homogeneous illumination for
magnifications ranging from 2X to 100X
for both observation and photomicrography roles.
Supporting the
BA400’s functions is the stand’s inverted “Y” design for lateral
stability and ruggedness combined with user-friendly located sample
manipulation controls for rapid and fatigue-free movements.
Positioned low for comfort, the focus mechanisms of the BA400
produce highly precise movements of 1mm
minimum increment within a 27mm stroke range. Located in close
proximity to the focus controls, the mechanical stage adjustment
controls can be found in either left or right-handed format to suit
the user as they move the sample throughout the 76 X 50mm movement.
Furthermore, the stage can be rotated for photomicrography
applications.
Illuminating the
entire system is the externally mounted 30W/6V true Koehler
illumination system that provides bright and uniform illumination
for all applications. Optionally available is the three-cassette
reflective Epi-fluorescence system to expand the BA400 into another
realm.
Features
- CCIS optics
- Field flatness up to F.N.22
- Swing-out N.A. 0.90/0.13 Achromat Abbe condenser
- Epi-fluorescence attachment
- Multi-Head observation
- Plan Fluar objectives available
Remark
Fluorescence Microscopy – The ruggedness and
stability of the BA-400’s stand permits the attachment of a
reflective Epi-fluorescence attachment arm. The system is
built around a three-block [excluding dummy cassette] slider
axis with the ability to handle fluorescence microscopy FITC
to GFP markers.

Motic AE 20/21
Functional inverted microscopy
Established to bring inverted microscopy to levels of routine
clinical preparation, the AE20/21's functionality exceeds the
expectations of a basic inverted microscope.
Description
The AE20/21 is a fantastic inverted microscope and is not a
stripped down version of its more powerful brother, AE30/31. The
AE20/21 is an inverted microscope equipped with the functions
typically used by routine clinical preparation, instead of saddling
the user with unused accessories and a heavy financial burden.
Equipped standard with the Corrected Infinity Optical System [CCIS®]
and an ELWD N.A. 0.30 condenser [WD=72mm] that incorporates a slider
stop for the standard PH 1 annuli phase slider, the AE20/21 already
is prepared for multiple tasks with an extra cost to user. Combining
the long working distance condenser with a hard coated stage [for
those accidental spills] that rests at 207mm from the bench,
numerous samples and containers can be used with the AE20/21. The
AE20/21’s standard CCIS® E Plan Achromat inverted objectives have a
waterproof construction for those accidental spills, as mentioned
before, in addition to providing the clarity needed in preparation
up to a field flatness of F.N.20.
Making those long periods of observation and preparation less
tiring and painful, the AE20/21 rests at a comfortable 45°
observation angle and a viewing height of 370mm [390
trinocular] while positioning its focus mechanisms low to reduce
wrist strain. The overall focus system has a stroke of 10mm with a
minimum increment of 2mm. Reducing eye fatigue is the intensity
controlled 30W/6V quartz halogen illumination to provide adequate
illumination plus the siedentopf system [50-70mm] and diopter
adjustment [±5°]
for further optical correction to the user.
Features
- CCIS optics
- Field flatness up to F.N. 20
- ELWD 0.30 N.A. condenser [WD=72mm]
- Low-positioned focus controls
- 2 mm minimum increments
- Optional Phase contrast observation
Motic AE 30/31
Application
driven inverted microscope
A class leading
inverted microscope offering upscale research functions in the
routine realm.
Description
The AE30/31 is an inverted microscope
for the routine realm, but offers upscale research functions, such
as fluorescence and an externally mounted and centrable 30W/6V
halogen Koehler illumination. Complementing the uniform illumination
is the ELWD 0.30 N.A. condenser with its 72mm working distance for
large sample and carriers, which can be adjusted and centered to
provide the optimum amount of illumination for each sample.
Furthermore, the condenser is equipped with a slider stop for the
equipped standard centrable PH 1 and PH 3 Phase slider. An optional
LWD 0.50 N.A. condenser [WD=28mm] is available should the need
arise.
Driven for applications, the AE30/31
incorporates the Colour Corrected Infinity Optical System [CCIS®] to
power system expansions and to produce, along with the CCIS® Plan
Achromat inverted objectives, crisp, flat and high contrast images
in field flatness up to F.N.22. These images can be viewed for hours
upon hours in fatigue free manner thanks to the comfortable 45
°
observation angle and viewing height of 380mm [400mm – trinocular],
which is the ideal height from the laboratory tabletop to the users’
eyepieces. Assisting the angle is the Siedentopf system [50-70mm]
for setting the correct interpupillary distance and the adjustable
high eye point WF10X eyepiece, which can be adjusted
±
5
°
for individual astigmatism and aligning reticules.
Supporting all these applications and
functions is the AE30/31's stable inverted "Y" designed stand. The
inverted "Y" provides the necessary stability and weight
distribution to handle the attachment of Epi-fluorescence and other
accessories. The stand features low position focus mechanisms to
alleviate wrist strain while adjusting the focus at 1mm
minimum increments throughout the 10mm stroke range. The stage sits
at a height of 207mm for rapid sample changes. A universal
mechanical stage [tilted adjustment] is available as an option plus
a series of Petri dish holders.
Features
- CCIS optics
- Field flatness up to F.N. 22
- Centrable ELWD 0.30 N.A. condenser [WD=72mm]
- Standard centrable Phase Contrast slider [PH 1/PH 3]
- Externally mounted and centrable 30W/6V quartz halogen
illumination
- Epi-fluorescence attachment available
Remark
Fluorescence – The AE-30/31 system is designed to
accept an attachable Epi-Fluorescence illuminator capable of
handling fluorescence microscopy markers FITC to GFP. The attachment
inserts into the back of the AE-30/31 stand with filter selection
located near the focus control mechanism.
