Usable
with virtually any optical microscope, Lasico Filar Eyepieces represent an economical
solution to measuring problems faced by many manufacturing companies for gap and line
width measurements, quantitative analysis in medical and biological research and general
quality control applications. Lasico Filar Eyepieces are also employed as backup
devices for large automatic line-width measuring systems.
If compared with mechanical measuring oculars, series 1602/1603
instruments provide a significantly improved measuring resolution, a considerably higher
operating speed and much enhanced operator convenience. The typical readout and
calculation errors of mechanical filar eyepieces are completely eliminated. |

optical microscope into a precision measuring tool. |
Lasico Filar Eyepieces are available
for optical microscopes with 23.14 mm tube diameter (series 1602)
and
for microscopes with 30mm tube diameter (series 1603).
If the large field of view provided by 30mm dia. oculars is not
important, 1602 models can be equipped with a sleeve (# 1605-1) to fit 30 mm dia. tubes.
Electronic Filar Eyepieces need to be operated in conjunction with a processor. Several processor models
are available.
All can be interfaced with computers either via an optional
interface for Mod. SM2, M, XM or via built-in interface in Mod. M2 and XM2. |

The economical solution
for the occasional user!
Results need to be obtained via a
micrometer readout and are unscaled. The measuring resolution is lower than that of the
electronic systems by a factor of 30.
