Advanced Motor Controller

• Included with Semprex advanced motor stages using DC servo motors and encoders for two axis closed-loop control (PC compatible computer with 16-bit ISA expansion slot required)
• PID filter uses sophisticated math to automatically compensate for variations in friction or load to produce exceptionally smooth velocities and accelerations
• Semprex stages have 100 speed settings from 8 microns per second to 75 mm per second
• Safety features include thermal protection and obstruction sensing

• Included with Semprex standard motor stages using DC servo gear-motors and encoders for two axis closed-loop control
• Operates as stand-alone unit for joystick control with fast/slow speed toggle (15 mm/sec max speed)
• RS232 programmable for computer control -- user can develop custom software or use optional PC-XY motion control software (see below)
• Optional digital readout unit recommended for stand-alone use

Motion Control Software

• PC compatible software included with Semprex advanced motor stages or available as an option for Semprex standard motor stages
• Move stage to exact relative or absolute positions and display coordinates in millimeters or inches
• Control stage movement using computer, mouse, or joystick
• Configure origin, direction, velocity, and acceleration
• Store up to 1000 positions, add comments, and save data on disk
• Import ASCII coordinate files generated by other programs
• View graphical map of coordinate data and point and click mouse to move the stage to any location
• Create automated motion programs with timed waits, repeat loops, subroutines and more
